What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Testing & Data Engineer to design and run experiments, analyze performance data, and develop the tools that will help us scale. You’ll be at the intersection of engineering, statistics, and software—ensuring our products meet the highest standards through rigorous testing and insightful data analysis.

Your mission:

• Develop and automate testing – Design experiments to evaluate our electroadhesive products and build Python-based tools to automate data collection and processing.
• Turn raw data into insights – Use SQL, Python, and statistical methods to analyze performance metrics and improve our products.
• Create intuitive data visualizations – Help engineers and customers understand test results with clear, compelling dashboards and reports.
• Optimize test setups – Work closely with the hardware team to refine experimental designs and measurement techniques.
• Ensure data integrity – Establish best practices for data storage, processing, and validation to maintain accuracy and repeatability.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a technical problem-solver with a passion for experimentation and data-driven decision-making. Here’s what will set you up for success:

✅ Strong Python and Matlab skills – You can write clean, efficient code for data analysis, automation, and visualization.
✅ SQL proficiency – You’re comfortable querying databases and managing structured test data.
✅ Statistics & data analysis – You understand design of experiments, hypothesis testing, regression, and how to extract meaningful insights from data.
✅ Data visualization experience – You can create informative plots and presentations to visualize correlations in a complex parameter space.
✅ Hands-on engineering mindset – You enjoy working with real-world hardware and electronics, designing tests, and interpreting physical measurements.
✅ Attention to detail – You’re meticulous about hardware looks-right feels-right, data accuracy, and documentation for experimental repeatability.
✅ A collaborative approach – You can communicate complex results to engineers, customers, and stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.
